Information about our product

Our products are reindeer hot chocolate treat bags and hot chocolate cups. The treat bags are made up of hot chocolate powder, milk chocolate chips and marshmallows. They are inside a piping bag that is decorated like a reindeer. The cups are made from a melted chocolate base with a candy cane handle. The cup is filled with hot chocolate powder and marshmallows decorated with melted chocolate and sprinkles.

Where did the idea come from?

We got the idea from an already existing product that had a different design and ingredients. We believe hot chocolate is a very festive drink that can be enjoyed by both young and old.

Who is involved in the project?

Tara Bailey and Sara Nally are the people involved in this project. We work well together, have excellent communicational skills and are very creative.

What the costs were.

The cost for our reindeer hot chocolate treat bags were:

Hot chocolate powder: €1.99 (400g)

Chocolate chips: €0.69 (100g)

Marshmallows: €1.00 (100g)

The ingredients that we use in the treat bags will also be what we use for the hot chocolate cups. The only ingredients we will have to buy will be sprinkles which cost €1.99 and candy canes which cost €1.49 for 12.

Who do we hope to sell to?

We hope to sell to people of all ages who love drinking hot chocolate.

When will the product be ready?

We aim to have the reindeer hot chocolate bags and hot chocolate cups ready in the last week of November.

When will it be ready for sale?

Our products will be ready for sale at the end of November and all throughout the month of December.

Where will it be available for sale?

We will aim to sell our products in school during break and lunchtime and at our local Christmas markets and throughout our community.

How can customers pay?

We will give customers the option to pay with cash or Revolut.
