Scoil Mhuire Half Zips

Where did the idea come from? 

We came up with our business idea by brainstorming about clothing products that we would like to buy ourselves. The half zip tracksuit tops are in our school colours and each top has our school crest on it. 

We are partnering with DSsports who are making the half zips. We will be distributing the half zips in the new year when our order is set to arrive.

Who is involved in the project? 

Darren Whelan, Ciarán Murray and Martin O’ Dowd are involved in the project.

What were the costs? 

Each top will cost €38. Our suppliers DSsports set a price of €33 for a half zip. We are selling each top for €38 euro but for an extra €2 you can have your initials put on them.

Who do we hope to sell to? 

Our market research was carried out within the school and our target market will be mostly male sport loving students of all ages in the school.

When will the product be ready? 

The product will be ready in mid February. 

When is it available for sale? 

We have taken orders from students during lunchtime in school and we hope to distribute our products in the middle of February as soon as our deliveries arrive. 

How can customers pay? 

Customers can pay in cash.
