Our enterprise group is called “SCOILMHUIRESHAKES”. We picked this name because it is catchy and it captures what our enterprise is very well.

There are two members in our group, Aoibhe Fahy and Grace Finnerty. We decided to form our enterprise group together because we have been best friends through secondary school and we work very well together. Our business consists of one product (milkshakes) that is available in three different flavours; Biscoff, Kinder and Oreo. We came up with this idea to give the students at school a nice refreshing tasty drink to look forward to drink and enjoy at lunch time with their friends.

Where the idea came from:

It took us a while to reach a final decision on what our product was going to be, and many factors influenced our choice. We first wanted to do school jerseys but two other groups were doing them, which meant it would be more difficult to generate sales as the market was very competitive. Then we thought of pop sockets but we looked at the advantages and disadvantages of this idea, conducted our research, and we came to the conclusion that it was too difficult. The milkshakes were the most suitable option for us.

What the costs were:

Overall we had no fixed costs as advertising our product was free.

Who they hope to sell to:

Our target market is students that attend our school but mostly the first, second and third year students. They are our target market because milkshakes have been done once in the school before and the first, second and third year students were not in the school to try them out so it will be something new for them to experience.

Where it will be available for sale:

We began selling our product in November.
